September Favourites

September Favourites

This month I’m bringing you my favourites a little earlier! Next week I’m posting a video on Sunday which will compliment the post going up on Friday hence I’ve moved September’s favourites to today. So let’s get into it!

Push ’em up

The Maybelline Push Up Angel Mascara is without a doubt, THE BEST mascara I have ever used. With a precision comb for a brush which makes application so easy and smooth rather than clumpy, my eyelashes have never looked better. I never curl my lashes and the push up angel mascara actually gives a lovely curl effect as the comb brushes through. So it’s like a curler and mascara in one!

Spray n’ Heal

The Boots Spray Plaster has become a must have item in my first aid kit. I took this on holiday with me and ended up using it quite a few times on the children. Basically the antiseptic spray forms a transparent film to protect the wound and promote natural healing. It’s great for hard to reach areas and is particularly useful for those nasty cuts that kids don’t want you to touch!

Bathe like Cleopatra

Whilst in Cyprus I received some lovely products by Greek skincare / cosmetics company Olivolio. I’ve tried out a number of their moisturisers but I really like the Donkey Milk 24 hours active face cream, which contains 91% natural origin ingredients. I’ve been using it at night and in the morning my skin just feels so soft. It has a very light, non-donkeyfied (!) scent and contains olive oil, almond oil, aloe vera and plenty of vitamins which keep the skin really hydrated.

Back to school

My son starts nursery soon but I actually bought him this LittleLife Actionpak backpack to use on the aeroplane as well so he can carry his own toys! He absolutely loves dinosaurs so this is the perfect bag for him and the reflective material is such a great idea. The bag is quite small but surprisingly roomy so you can fit in a few snacks and small toys. You will definitely need something bigger for older kids though.

Monkeying around

To go with the new backpack I purchased another animal as a pencil case: the Monkey Puzzle Shaped Pencil Case is so much fun and can even be attached to the outside of your kid’s backpack with its handy spring clip. Paperchase has a whole range of monkey products and some of them are now selling at a discounted price so grab them whilst you can!
